PET SHOW
1:00 pm Sunday, September 7, 2008 Family Theatre Stage
COMMITTEE: Chair - Stephanie Cockwell
No entry fee. Open to boys and girls 14 years of age and under. Parents are not allowed on stage. Animals must be caged or on a leash and kept under control by the exhibitor. The Lincoln Agricultural Society is not responsible for runaways.
Prizes: 1st Prize $3.00 + Ribbon, 2nd Prize - $2.00 + Ribbon, 3rd Prize - $1.00 + Ribbon. All other participants will receive a participant ribbon. will receive a participant ribbon.
CLASSES 1. Best-dressed pet (please consider the pet’s feelings as to what you have it wear) 2. Best-hatted pet (cannot be same outfit as for best-dressed pet) 3. Cutest kitten 4. Most colourful cat. 5. Cutest puppy 6. Puppy that will sit and stay the longest 7. Most unusual breed of puppy or dog 8. Happiest looking dog 9. Tallest dog 10. Shortest dog 11. Most interesting pet 12. Loveliest rabbit 13. Best trick by a pet 12. Best informed exhibitor of his/her pet's needs (general care, diet, etc.) Winning names of child and pet are engraved on a trophy which is displayed in the Grandstand Hall all year.
Puppies are to be 9 months of age or younger. Kittens are to be 7 months of age or younger.
