RULES
1.
Poultry must be ready to be judged by 9 am, Thursday, September
4 , 2008
and remain until 5 pm on Sunday, September
7.
2.
Entries must be cooped in Wednesday, September
4th between 6 to 9 pm.
3. All
entries must be received by the Secretary's office by Friday, August 22,
2008. All entries after this date will be charged a 25 cent penalty.
*NOTE!
If entries exceed available space, spaces will be allocated according to
submission date. "First come, first served" up to 650 entries..
4.
Facilities will be provided for the waterfowl. They should be brought in
as clean as possible (SHOW CONDITION); badly soiled waterfowl will
not be accepted.
5.
Entry fees of 50 cents for each single entry. All entry fees must be
paid in full at time of making the entries. Two entries per section.
6.
Regardless of competition, an exhibit unworthy of a prize will not be
awarded the prize. All completed entry tags will be attached to the pens
previous to the date of the Fair.
7.
Each exhibitor must be a member of the Lincoln Agricultural Society and a
membership fee of $6.00 (or $2.00 for Junior exhibitors under eighteen)
must accompany all entries, unless membership has been retained from the
previous year. All exhibitors winning the sum of $12.00 or over in
prize money will have $6.00 (or $2.00 for Junior Members) deducted from
their cheque for their membership for the next year.
8.
No baby poultry, pigeons, waterfowl or pet stock allowed at the Fair (NOT
UNDER THREE MONTHS).
9 In
the opinion of the Committee, if the animals are sick or in poor
condition, they will be excused.
10. No
phone-in entries.
