Entry forms

Wine must be made from 100% Ontario Grapes or Fruit.

1. All exhibitors must be members of the Society.  The  membership fee is $6.00.

2. Each exhibitor winning the sum of $12.00 or over in prize money will have $6.00 membership fee for next year deducted from their prize money.

3. Entry forms to be sent with fees by mail or otherwise to be received by the Fair Secretary at P.O. Box 981, Beamsville, Ontario, L0R 1B0 not later than Friday, August 29, 2008.  Late entries will be charged 25 cents per late entry.

4. See general rules and regulations at the front of the prize list.

5. Entry fee is $2.00 per class, one entry per class only.

6. Each entry must include two bottles per class

a)  one bottle (for display) should have a permanent label

b)  one bottle should be tagged for judging

c)  each bottle must have a completed entry form

7. Exhibits will be received in the Heritage Room from 7 and 9 pm on Tuesday, September 2,  and  from 9 to 11 am on Wednesday, September 3.

8. Amateur Wine Makers' rules will apply.  Judging will take place Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 7pm.

9. Judge’s comments will be available to exhibitors Sunday, September 9, at 7pm.

Cash prizes:  1st - $20.00,    2nd - $15.00,    3rd - $10.00
