The Lincoln and Smithville Agricultural Societies have long traditions in their respective communities. We live in a time when tradition is being replaced by change at a rate that sometimes seems overwhelming. The face of the traditionally rural areas of the Niagara Peninsula is definitely an example of this change. Change can build up or tear down. We are pleased to see our two agricultural societies choosing to build up and work together in the planning of a new fairgrounds and ag complex built at the heart of the two communities.
